Spanish with Tasha W.

Saludos! My name is Tasha and I've been teaching college courses since 1999. I have taught many humanities-based subjects at private and public universities as well as community colleges. My wheelhouse includes: Spanish language, world literature, composition, film studies, gender and LGBT studies, non-western mythologies, and more. While I love to teach all over the spectrum, I have a special place in my heart for the true beginner. I have loved helping folks experience authentic encounters in new languages and gain insight about themselves and the world through literature and film. I have a BA and MA in Spanish Language & Literature from Illinois State University. I have an MA in Comparative Literature and am ABD in same from Penn State. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a smattering of Japanese. I take a tailored, hands-on, collaborative approach, and I look forward to helping you meet your goals, whatever they are!
