I am deaf since birth. I have been teaching ASL Beginner, Intermediate (various ages)
Basics, Emphasis, Proper Signing. Lessons will be clear for the needs / goals of each student.
      You will pick it up quicker than you think! You will enjoy being able to communicate with your loved ones or working towards your goal of interpreting!

I have been deaf my whole life and ASL is my first language. I have a wonderful deaf husband and two hearing children who have been signing since infancy. Both have been signing fluently for many years.

I have been teaching beginner/ intermediate signs for various ages since 1985. My teaching skills include basic, intermediate, advanced signs, emphasis, and proper and clear signing. I'd like to make all students feel as comfortable as possible and will pay attention to the needs/ goals of each student. You will pick it up more quickly than you think!
           
       I intend to teach students to enjoy learning ASL. I have a lot of patience! Don't worry, you'll do great :)

I love classes with Tammy! She's very patient and encouraging. She makes sure to cater class to you so you're learning signs you will likely come across day to day.
