Established: 1993 1) doll clothes and cloth doll designer 2) seamstress 3) manufacturer 4) pattern drafter 5) pattern writer 6) business stationery designer-concept to completion 7) advertising coordinator 8) salesperson 9) office manager 10) shipping/ receiving person 11) secretary for business-correspondence 12) typist 13) purchasing agent for supplies 14) controller. In order to do all these different jobs at once, I have artistic, sewing, crafting, decorating, and advertising/mechanical talent, sales ability, good communication skills, type and work with the computer in a variety of programs, work FAST, accurately, neatly, and I’m a self starter. I wish to create a change and teach people how to sew. 1953-Started to learn to sew for my dolls (I was 3) and later for myself (I was 12). 1975-PRESENT-Domestic Engineer: Includes raising 3 children and married for 48 years. This requires patience, being able to delegate responsibility, solve problems, loyalty, sewing and do numerous craft techniques for myself and my family and then teaching my daughters to do the same. I have run my own business since 1989 while my children were growing up. 2018: Instructor at the Douglas Community Center Gardnerville, NV Teaching students Hand Sewing Boot Camp class, and Sewing Machine Workshop 1 class. Other classes included making a Hand Sewed Monster, a Simple Projects class and a class for Toddlers. May 2001 to Sept 2001: Hancock Fabrics-Napa, CA. Associate, Supervisor in Training. (Company dissolved) Cut fabric for numerous customers, general clean-up of the store, learning to maintain the Home Decorating Fabrics Department 1985-6: Instructor of artistic techniques for Tri-Chem Liquid Embroidery-home business. Taught groups of people in the hostess home techniques using Tri-Chem products.
