    About Sara P.

I am a practicing artist who has shows regionally in the Midwest as well as throughout the US and abroad. I am a professor at a Big10 college in the Department of Art and Design. As a teacher I want to work with you and encourage you to develop your work further. I can teach skills, but the content of the work comes from you. I make work using alternative photographic processes, textiles, and collage. My work deals with themes of ecology, "women's work", and craftivism. I have experience teaching with elementary aged students up through adults. As long as you are willing to learn I am willing to help you develop your skill set, and create meaningful work.
