I have been crocheting for over 35 years. I crochet almost everyday keeping my skills up to date and learning new ones. I give projects away to either one of my 5 grandchildren or donate to charity for children.
I have an easy going, friendly manner that helps take the stress away from learning a new skill. I like to meet my students in person in the safety of a public place like a coffee shop or library near their home. I like to be present and able to see how they are holding the hook and yarn and help them make any adjustments if needed. It's also nice to be able to give encouragement and any suggestions when I'm sitting right next to a student.
Crochet is an awesome craft, it's portable, calming and sometimes challenging. Creating items either from patterns or your own design gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment.
I will bring a hook, yarn and some instructions for you to practice with and take home. All you have to do is show up and have fun learning to crochet!
I met with Sandra at a coffee shop near my house. She was very knowledgeable about crochet and taught me the basics. I tried teaching myself online but it was so much easier with her sitting right there next to me showing me how to hold the hook and what to do with the yarn.
I will definitely get more instructions from Sandra when I get stuck on a project. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn crochet.
As I have gotten older I needed something to occupy my free time. I decided I wanted to learn to crochet and knit so I could make stuff for my grand babies. I found Sandra' information online and I couldn't be more satisfied with her teaching abilities. I learned basic crochet techniques and when I feel more comfortable I will definitely be giving her a call.+ Read More
