Crocheting with Sandra L.

Crochet is a fun and portable craft that keeps your mind and hands busy. Since the early 80's, I have been crocheting and knitting although I am much more proficient in crochet. I feel like I am a successful teacher since I have an easy going, friendly manner that helps take the stress away from learning a new skill. I like to meet my students in person in the safety of a public place like a coffee shop or library near their home. I think it helps to be present and able to see how the student is holding the hook and yarn and help them make any adjustments if needed. It's also nice to be able to give encouragement and any suggestions when I'm sitting right next to a student. I will bring extra hooks and yarn for you to practice with, plus written tips and cheat sheets. All you have to do is show up and have fun learning to crochet!
