2007

An Emmy award winning animation artist with 27 years in the animation industry, I founded the non profit, EDU DESIGNS to bring the arts back into schools, with comprehensive lesson plans to help teachers without an art background share skills to expand their ability to see what they are looking at.

My art presentations, videos and lessons help thousands of teachers and students improve character development and increase motivation for learning.

I know the depth of impact a good story can make on a child's mind to develop positive character. In the animation industry I worked to bring other people's stories into being and now mentor younger artists to learn the skills required to bring their dreams into reality.

Do I really have to give review after giving 5 star?
But this is for those who need it,
First of all she is classical former Disney artist and for the basics it's necessary to learn 2d in today's time.
Ruth mentored me from the beginning of my career and I have learned a lot, she is so caring, kind and loving. I will recommend you to take lesson from her
You will get the best knowledge out of her, whatever I'm today is because of her.

Quite honestly it's difficult for me to write a review that truly describes Ruth Elliot-Hilsdon, she is that talented an individual. I've known Ruth for several years now and I'm well aware of her outstanding career in animation. That said, as an educator, Ruth is phenomenal. Ruth worked with my daughter in animation. Her kind nurturing approach to teaching was amazing. My daughter learned, accomplished much and enjoyed the experience. Ruth is a delightful individual, a true professional and an individual dedicated to whatever goal she sets. I recommend her highly.
