You will gain confidence in your own SQL skills and learn more advanced SQL from other sources. My goal is for you to understand how data sets can be structured. I teach beginners to intermediate, especially those moving on from Excel. Together we can go through, the basic select statements, joins, filters, aggregate functions, group by, common table expressions, views, etc.

We live in a world full of relational and random data. I started tutoring my fellow Data Analysis classmates on SQL and enjoyed doing so. I presented more efficient methods of retrieving data than using Excel. They were the ones who encouraged me to help other people wishing to understand SQL. I use SQL every day to create ad-hoc reports for my clients.

Once you understand the basics of SQL, you will learn to teach yourself more advanced skills. I teach from a practical perspective. It has been rewarding for me and I wish the same for everyone else.
