¡Pura vida! I have continued studying Spanish local and abroad for 10 years. I have been tutoring and teaching Spanish for 6 years. I have also worked in higher education as an advisor and counselor for Hispanic students and families and love the outreach to the community. I love my students and families that I get to help and welcome the opportunity to help others achieve their professional and personal language learning goals.

I received my bachelor's degree in Spanish from Winthrop University and my master's degree in Spanish Translation Studies from UNC Charlotte. I began tutoring and teaching while at UNC Charlotte and studied abroad in Costa Rica while in undergrad and grad school. I love the Spanish language and culture.
