    René has been teaching in public schools since 1998. She has teaching experience with children, teens and adults. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a California Teaching Credential from San Diego State University with emphasis in Cross-Cultural Learning and Academic Development. She has studied dance with many fine private studios in San Diego County as well as San Diego State University, Palomar College and Mesa College. She has also performed at a number of public and private venues throughout San Diego County. She is a kind, patient person who enjoys helping students discover their talents and interests and develop new skills. René believes in teaching/learning with a positive attitude and a student centered approach.

    René is a great dance instructor. She helped my fiancé and I feel comfortable right away, and is very patient with us as we learn new steps. We are excited to continue our lessons with René!

    Rene is an excellent instructor. I have two left feet and she was still able to guide me into a world of smooth, easy dancing that I could only hope for in the past. She is very knowledgeable and and has patience for awkward beginners like me. She also has great posture.
