Mobile Music NYC

-Taught private piano lessons to students of all ages, specializing in young beginners -Used a unique approach of incorporating current pop music and favorite artists of students as a vehicle to teach foundational music theory. -Worked with parents of young students to outline short-term and long-term goals, practice schedules, assignments, etc.

New Country Day Camp

Acted as Assistant Unit Head of the Camping, Cooking & Pioneering division of an outdoors summer camp. I was responsible for making sure each student was accounted for, safe and behaved in the morning and afternoon going to and from Brooklyn by bus. At camp, I worked with the Unit Head of CCP to develop fun, safe and educational activities that fit the theme of each week as well as challenged each group at an age appropriate level.

Resonant Motion, Inc.

Responsible for maintaining an organized internet presence of group (Wikipedia, Email, Social Networking), contacting booking agents for concerts and masterclasses, as well as assisting artists during recording sessions. Part of a project team that works to combine art and positive social change.

Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts & Cultural Center

Taught foundational music and dance skills to classes ages 4-13. Created themes to allow for a fun and interactive artistic experience for the whole class. Managed and monitored student pick-up and drop-off onsite as well as via bus. Oversaw meals, making sure students behaved well and those with allergies were safe.

Pete LaMalfa's Piano Studio

-Managed and advertised my own teaching studio for piano lessons -Students ranged from ages 4 to 60, some with moderate learning disabilities -Worked with parents and students to create an enjoyable yet productive environment where all goals were met, while covering a myriad of styles.
