Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
I first started learning German due to a serendipitous move to Oklahoma following my junior year of high school. I have since really grown to love the German language and ended up getting a BA in German Studies (jointly with a BA in Spanish). I really love German literature, whether it's Goethe or Michael Ende, and I really enjoy Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Händel, and also Lieder (Shubert's "Erlkönig" being my favorite). I am also a huge fan of Die Prinzen. I consider myself an expert in grammar-related topics (including verb conjugation, cases, Konjunktiv I and II, etc.) but am also willing to teach vocabulary, pronunciation, and other topics.

Teaching since:

I hail from Walla Walla, Washington, home of the "famous" sweet onions, although I was born in Salt Lake City, UT. I can't begin to express how much I love languages!! I have studied 8 so far (Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, and Dutch) and want to keep learning new languages throughout the rest of my life. I graduated from high school in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and have since developed a love for all things Oklahoma, especially the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder. I love playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, and many other sports. I also love watching movies and TV shows, playing video games (especially Sonic the Hedgehog) and well as anime (Japanese animation). I am positive I can help you come to understand the wonderful world that is language and to learn how amazing it is to be able to say the same thing in so many different ways, and how much better it is to be able to communicate with someone in his/her native language instead of having to resort to English. Let's do this!!

A lot of connectivity issues on his end and he did not seems to have a pre-planned lesson plan, but by the end he seemed to have started to develop some structure.
