Hello, I am Paul Pavlos Georgakis. Greek and American, bi-cultural and bilingual, professional Teacher of English Language. My highest educational degrees are Master of Science in International and Intercultural Education, and Master of Business Administration in International Business. As for my qualifications TEFL Professional certified, TEFL and TESOL certified, recognized worldwide as leading qualifications to teach English to Foreign Learners and to teach English to Speakers of Other Language. In addition, I have taken many courses around the world including courses offered at Harvard and Cambridge Universities and at Tsinghua University in Beijing China, all supported with verified certificates. I have been teaching English for the most part of the last 20 years. I've taught students / learners, from all kinds of sectors and all different ages, ranged from beginners to advance. I enjoy helping and guiding students / learners to approach the English language in a way that leads to fluency. I have a passion to see my students / learners go further with the skills I taught them. I do also specialize in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP), a learner-centered approach to teaching English as an additional language, which focuses on developing communicative competence in a specific discipline such as academics, accounting, astrology, business, IT, medical, scientific, legal & law, law enforcement, tourism, teaching, banking, insurance, engineering. In order to learn English, you need a long term plan. Athletes need a good coach to progress in their sports. The same goes with English language studies. You need a good teacher/trainer/coach/counselor to support your progress and give you the right suggestions, the right way, and at the right time. The reasons students / learners should study with me are that, I’m an English language speaker and a qualified teacher who can give them insights into English culture and teach them idiomatic expressions that will make them sound natural and more like as natives. I am fan of languages. I do speak six languages. For fun, I like to do things that involve others, like friends. I enjoy spending quality time with friends. Whether making dinner and watching movies, going thrift shopping or grabbing a quick lunch, as long as I'm among great company with good conversation, I'm happy. I also love to stay active by exercising, cycling, swimming, playing tennis, volleyball, and participating on a local soccer team. I do like to go to concerts, listen to music, go to carnivals, fairs, and the night markets. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, river fishing, volunteering, relaxing.
