Build Shop Cabinets Quickly and Efficiently with a Wood Master

Do you want to build learn basic woodworking, or build shop cabinets, but don't know where to start? I've been doing woodworking for over 30 years and have been designing and building shop cabinets for the last 4 years, and I love to share my learning with others. If you are just starting woodworking and don't know where to begin, I've got some great starter projects for you to work on that require a minimum of skills and tools. Most of my lessons are online via the Takelessons interface, but if you live near Lexington, KY, I'd be glad to teach you in my shop. My specialty is in designing and building shop cabinets quickly and efficiently. If you would like to design and build shop cabinets or custom drawers for a storage space that you would like to better utilize, you've come to the right place! I'm an Electrical Engineer by training and profession. I enjoy working on complex problems and processes, and I especially like finding ways to do complex tasks more efficiently. My current interests are woodworking and digitizing/scanning of home videos, photos, slides, and negatives. I post much of my work on the Instructables website. These are intended to share the fruit of my research & development efforts to make it easier and faster for you to do woodworking. I love teaching and helping beginning woodworkers to move to the next level of woodworking to make shop cabinets!

Paul is a pleasure to learn from. He was very diplomatic in guiding me out of a very bad idea I had of setting up an outdoor woodworking area and now I've maximized a terrific garage work space thanks to his guidance. He has been terrific in sharing amazing online resources as well as guiding me along the lines of what tools to start with so I don't overbuy in the wrong direction. It's been great planning out my starting projects and I can't wait to build more and work more with his guidance. The time I've spent with Paul has saved me from a lot of trial and error.
