Chevy Chase family, who also hosted the Chinese boy, continued my employment through tutoring their five year old son, 2 year old daughter, mom and dad in simple conversational Mandarin in preparation of the adopted boy.

Boy from Chinese Orphanage came to the U.S. for treatment of a genetic illness. A host family in Chevy Chase needed a translator/ caregiver during the time he was here. Said boy is to return in November 2018 to the U.S. officially adopted into the host family.

Personal

Care and education to autistic child since birth to now, currently age 5, with special needs. She has autism, global delay (including speech and cognitive delay), a rare and life threatening metabolic condition. She has a g-tube and receives 5 feedings a day. She has been taught Chinese until age 2 and was then introduced to English to prepare for daycare. This child is my daughter.

Accompanied and translated for a professional strength coach Paul M. ( Conatus Athletics ) to visit the locations of the Beijing Olympics of 2008.
