I am an internationally rated chess player based in Columbus, Ohio. I studied Economics & Film at Yale University and graduated in May, 2020. Originally from India, I have won several state level & national level championships including the 2014 & 2016 Indian National Schools Championships. Throughout my career, I have played & beaten several international masters, grand-masters & currently possess a UCSF rating performance of 2200 based on my only UCSF rated tournament. My strengths lie in opening theory, middle game tactics & basic end-games. I use ChessBase, Leela Zero & sample games as my training methods. In addition to this, I used to provide blind & under-privileged children squash lessons back in Delhi, India & have significant experience training students of all ages.

Parth is doing a great job. I took lessons from Parth to understand and get better at chess openings. He has a phenomenal grasp of fundamentals and his online teaching is very user-friendly. I would recommend Parth to anyone who wants to improve at chess.

I had taken online classes from Parth at a time when my chess rating had become stagnant at 1200. Parth is a very creative coach as he not only focuses on chess openings like Sicilian and French Defense, but also taught me several variations that I had a problem facing in the past. He has a great interactive style of teaching and my rating improved from 1200-1540 in a matter of just 3 months.
