Greek with ORESTIS K.

I am a native Greek who moved from Athens, Greece to California in 2015. I hold a BA from the University of Athens. I have been working as a professional musician in Athens for 17 years. At the same time, I was running a Publishing House in Athens. With my Greek Music Ensemble I performs for universities, formal concerts, house concerts, dance events, Greek festivals and private parties. I hold lectures on Greek music during these tours in the States. Lecture themes include "Traditional Greek and Urban Music", "Greek Music in the 20th Century", "The role of the bouzouki in Greek music", and "Greek Folk Musicians". I teach Greek at the Greek School at the Annunciation in Sacramento and I offer private lessons.
