I'm a software and web developer with 8+ years of experience. I'm a volunteer tutor and mentor at various local organizations such as the Hour of Code (code.org) and local colleges who are in need of people who specialize in specific areas of Computer Science. I tutor, mentor, and guide any students of all ages who need help with anything pertaining to computer science, computer engineering, and especially programming.
Feel free to contact me for anything pertaining to the experience and knowledge I have! I enjoy communicating with students because we both learn something by the end of the conversation. No question is too dumb and no concept is too hard to grasp—just possess a desire to try and we'll figure out what works for you. I do my best to adapt to each student's needs and educational background so that I may teach efficiently and in a timely manner. Flexibility, humility, and versatility are core traits I take pride in and I believe are required for the education of students.
I run my own business as an independent IT Consultant and Developer. I consult with businesses, individuals, or groups to create resolutions, solutions, or a plan to better the methods they use with software, websites, services, apps, or hardware. It is my job to ensure they use technology as efficiently as possible.
I also create desktop software, websites, add-ons, scripts, etc. per request from a client.
I coached, instructed, and tutored students at schools and home (K-8) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in the following subjects: robotics, programming, biomedical engineering, and web design. I designed, created, and implemented programs for local schools and trained the staff teaching the programs. Implementing HR Software, time clock, customer relations database, and payroll automation was also a plus!+ Read More
