    About Chay

I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2006 as a Dungeon Master, and I have been teaching students how to be confident Dungeons Masters since 2021. I organize D&D programs for civic centers and local municipalities to teach interpersonal skills through storytelling. I also organize non profit tabletop game conventions and a monthly Adventurer's League club. I write a newsletter for the D&D community, and manage an engaging discord for D&D community organizers and players across the United States.                             I believe that teaching is one of the best ways to expand your own understanding of a subject, and I'm excited to share that with all of you, along with my passion for gaming.                             Skills & Lessons that I would be happy to share with you:                             How to Start Playing   How to Start DMing   How to Find Players   How to Read and Prepare a Pre Written Adventure   Story Writing & Homebrewing   Character Development   Improvisational Storytelling   Communal Storytelling   Game Session Structure   Story & Session Pacing   Storytelling & Dungeon Master Styles   How to be a Cooperative Antagonist   Rules Arbitration   Dungeon Master Preparation Techniques   Public Speaking for Tabletop Gaming   Dungeon Master Anxieties and How to Overcome Them   Communication Skills for Tabletop Gaming   Etiquette for Tabletop Gaming   Conflict Resolution for Tabletop Gaming   Community Organizing for Tabletop Gaming   Creating an Engaging Discord Server   Introduction to Geek Culture   Community Development for Tabletop Gaming   Promoting Your Gaming Club   Event Planning   Event Marketing (geek culture)   Project Management
