I am a professional translator and Korean language instructor. I was born and grew up in Korea until I was 13 years old. I then moved to the US and lived here since then. I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and earned a masters from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Students can expect to improve week to week in not only learning the language but also developing understanding for Korean culture. Every student has a different learning method that works best for them; I quickly learn each student's best learning method and apply it in order to unlock their best potential. I can help any student to improve Korean language skills with confidence. I teach students of all different ages and levels. I have been teaching Korean for for 8 years, and translated for 14 years. My students have scored over 750 on SAT II Korean subject tests. I can teach students to read, write and speak Korean with confidence and help get to level of their goals. I believe my personal passion to teach along with extensive years of teaching experience will go far beyond your expectations. I look forward to meeting you and helping you!
