I have been speaking German all my life and have been teaching the language for 30+ years. I also do interpreting and translating from English to German and from German to English. I studied comparative linguistics at the University of Marburg from 1978 to 1979 on a Fulbright Scholarship. I give thorough lessons to my students, always focusing on his and her needs. I am warm and personable. I supply my own notes and other materials. My students come first.

I have been teaching for 30+ years. I teach German, ESL and English. I have worked in high schools, in language schools in and outside of Philadelphia. For six years I taught ESL at Drexel University and for twelve years at Fox Chase Cancer Center. I enjoy the challenge of working with students and seeing them learn. This gives me a solid feeling of accomplishment.
