Knitting has been a passion of mine for nearly 4 years. Since late 2014, I have been knitting nearly every single day. I have personally taught half a dozen friends how to knit and I'm looking to branch out and help others. I feel that knitting is a craft that isn't practiced as much as it should be. If I can teach people how to knit then I feel I have done my service to the craft. I have completed 22 sweaters 30 scarves, shawls, and wraps and a myriad of other projects. I believe this proves my prowess with the craft and qualifies me to be a more than satisfactory teacher. Also I have been told that I am a patient and upbeat person. I look forward to being your teacher and introducing you to knitting or furthering your current skill level.

I'm a stay at home wife here in Murfreesboro, TN looking to do something I love with my extra time. I'm available any time from 9 am-8 pm Monday-Friday and for flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays. I keep an upbeat attitude and have been told that I'm a very patient teacher. I will do my utmost to teach you how to knit and/or help you learn new skills and stitches. Knitting is a craft that I am incredibly passionate about and I look forward to teaching you everything I have to offer.

I worked previously in the US Air Force for 6 years, Target for 2 years, and Outback Steakhouse for a year and a half.

I met Megan in a local craft store. I ask her for help and she has not stopped. She is extremely diverse in her talents. I found her to be patient with beginners like me and I aspire to have at least 10 percent of her talent!

I've been knitting for nearly 10 years, and I'm in awe of Megan's work!  She has the utmost patience, and she's great at showing you how far you've come and keeping motivation up.  I can't recommend her enough!

She helped me with my sweater and I swear I couldn't have done it without her help.

I have watched Megan teach in my yarn shop in Knoxville. She is knowledgeable and eager to help others. A keen observer, she sees what’s holding her student back and creative in finding a way forward. Her enthusiasm is catching, watch out you will be having fun knitting soon!

I have not personally taken lessons from Megan but I have watched her work and looked at many of the projects she was working on and completed. Her skill is amazing. She has taught herself a lot of stitches which I feel will help her understand how to better help her students.  She loves her craft and enjoys sharing it with anyone interested in learning,b too.
