I'm a sewing instructor with a background in historical costuming. I've been sewing for over 15 years and received a degree in Costume Construction & Design.
Since 2016, I have been the lead educator of a sewing machine shop located in Boulder, Co. I have taught everything from sewing machine and serger basics to flat patterning and embroidering on leather.
I am certified on Baby Lock, Janome, and Bernina machines, and have taught classes for most major sewing machine manufacturers.
You can expect a patient, cooperative experience in my classes; we're in this together!
I was in charge of creating sewing education training, creative class material, and training incoming sewing educators.
I was the lead educator at Blakeman Vacuum & Sewing in Boulder, Co. I taught machine basics, garment construction, quilting, embroidery, and serger technique.
Very knowledgable, kind and experienced sewing teacher.
