Maurice is a blessing to my life and an answer to my prayers. If you are serious about learning Hebrew this man is the man to see. He is on time, good natured, and patient. His teaching method gives quick results.

I am in my second year of homeschooling and had prayed specifically for a male teacher to come alongside us and assist in our homeschooling adventure. Although my son, who is six, is not having any difficulties at the moment, homeschooling is still new to me and I was hoping I could find someone who would keep us accountable and help fill in any gaps in my son's schooling. We have found Maurice to be just what we needed. He is engaging and encouraging and has been helpful in sharing strategies and teaching techniques that foster comprehensive learning and not merely memorization.

My son has had tutors in the past, and they simply read with him, which is not what he needed. Maurice actually is teaching him in a way he can understand, and is very patient. My son is no longer on his IEP and is grade-level, thanks to Maurice.

I taught with Maurice and he has a way of explaining things that is clear and concise, very easy to understand. Not only can he deconstruct the most difficult ideas into easy to learn parts, he can do it in multiple ways for any kind of learner. I strongly recommend him.

AMAZING! If I were to choose 1 word to describe Maurice's skill, talent & patience it would be AMAZING! My son has struggled academically for years & we have tried many other tutors with no improvement. Maurice came into our lives & my son went from D's & F's to consistently maintaining A's, B's & C's. We couldn't be happier & more proud of all the progress made. Maurice is always welcome in our home & with 2 younger daughters in grade school he'll be part of the family by the time were done with tutoring!

Many tutors are competent and knowledgeable in their subjects, some are also very good teachers as well. However, very few tutors are innovative in their teaching approach. Maurice is just that. He talked to my son and figured out not only what my son does not know, but even more importantly, what his learning style is and the best customized way to deliver missing knowledge to him. Maurice went outside the subject matter and used learning games and tricks to efficiently deliver the info to make sure my son also retained that knowledge. No one has unlimited time and resources; it is very important to me that they are used wisely and efficiently. Thank you, Maurice, for helping us.

My son was having some difficulty with some concepts in Algebra. Maurice
sat down with him and quickly found a way to explain them clearly and in
a way that allowed my son to remember them easily. He was patient,
understanding, and engaging. I would definitely use him again.

Maurice is an outstanding educator, an educator that makes students feel capable and confident in accomplishing whatever academic goals they may have or struggle with. He puts all his focus on what students first need to learn in order to get to their goal. He's one of the most understanding educators I've had the pleasure of working with. His patience, regardless of the students difficulty on grasping the academic concept is astonishing. If a student isn't understanding one learning style, he'll try a different way until the student does.

I have the privilege of knowing Maurice for over 20 years, from when I was a student to when I myself became an educator. His great patience, love for knowledge and passion for teaching have proven to be invaluable assets which make him one of the best educators I've met. His genuine respect and caring for every student is inestimable, and is his secret to successfully imparting the lesson at hand.
