I am an English teacher and researcher with global education experience. Although I am certified in the sates of Massachusetts and Connecticut (meaning that my background check is complete), I have spent the last few years teaching IB English in Beijing, China; additionally, I am an examiner for the IB in my course, meaning that I have particular insight into what makes for a well-performing assessment. Education is my passion, and it is humbling to have received two teaching awards from the University of Chicago based on nominations from previous students.
