While working for Tutor Doctor. I made the "house calls" to tutor students in the home environment in French, English, SAT and ACT prep, ESL, and elementary language arts. My youngest student was a 4th grader who struggled with English which was a second language for him. I had an adult student who wanted to learn enough French to hone in on her own skill set to enjoy a month of travel in France. I enjoyed my tenure with this company.

This certification has allowed me to teach French and English in any public school in New York for life. It is a permanent teaching certification. I have retired form the New York State teaching system after working in public schools in the state for 19 years.

I was granted a provisional, then extension of the certification for 8 years to teach French k-12 in Ohio public schools. I taught 8th grade in Columbus Public School, Indianola Middle School. Indianola is the oldest Middle School in the US.
