Learn to read, write and speak Spanish with a native Spanish speaker

I am a native Spanish speaker and can speak, read, and write Spanish fluently. I use the Berlitz method to teach Spanish, and I can provide my students with hand outs so that they can understand and practice their skills fully as they go along. Spanish students of all ages and levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced students. At the end of each class, we will have a short conversation session to practice the skills you learned in class. so you will know exactly how to use your new skills.

Hi! My name is Maryen, and I am excited to help you with your studies! Learning is a lot of work, but it can also be a lot of fun. Together, we will embark on a journey of learning where I will be your guide: you will discover skills you need, and through practice, master these skills. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and thus, am able to help you learn either language. If you just need to improve a little, we can work on that, too! I am happy to work with students of all levels; we will work at your pace to achieve the results you want. It's never too late to learn a new language- or improve one you might already know! **ATTENTION** 30-minute lessons reserved for ages 5 and below Will not accept adults for less than 45-minute lessons

I provided lessons to individuals and groups. Lessons included grammar, pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, composition and conversation. Advanced Spanish students received lessons in Spanish/Latin America literature, history and culture, according to their goals. Likewise,Advanced English students Advanced Spanish students received lessons in English literature, history and culture, according to their goals. My role included creating a long term plan, and provide students with strategies that will help them be successful. Additionally, I designed individual lesson planning, and continually monitored their progress.
