My passion for sewing was instilled in me by my mother, who worked for Ratner corporation in San Diego. At a young age, I was taught to do simple hand sewing and later moving on to the ever popular Singer machine. Being the female counterpart of a tailor, I have over 30 years of hands-on experience in working with a variety of fabrics. I am able to create/design my own sewing patterns, embellish and mend. I have had experience in fashion design, costume creation and design, bridal party design and children design. My experience also includes home interior design and home interior creations, alterations and mending (pillows, curtains, spreads, slipcovers, etc.) My experience in alternations includes: hemming dresses, skirts and pants, as well as inseam adjustments and other common alterations and repairs. I have also had experience in mending sleeves.
