I started instructing English at a Private Language School in 2000. Besides, I worked as an English Teacher at a Public school from 2004 to February 2016. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a second language (2000-2003), a Complete English Course Certificate (Richard Hugh Fisk Foundation) and a Proficiency Certificate. I have already taught children, teens and adults at all levels. My lessons consist of motivating and interesting activities.

Hello, my name is Marina. I was born in São Paulo State, Brazil and I am currently living in the USA. I want to teach you Portuguese or English as a Second Language, including 4 skills for Fluency: Listening Comprehension, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I do my best to motivate my students, because, Teaching is my passion.
***Cancellation Policy***
All TakeLessons students are expected to give their teachers at least 24 hours notice of a lesson cancellation to be eligible for a reschedule.
I require 24 hours notice if you cancel or want to reschedule a scheduled lesson. You are required to pay for any lessons cancelled without at least 24 hours notice.
If you do not show up for class, I will wait 15 minutes. If you do not show up within 15 minutes, I will consider this a missed session and will require full payment.
