Language with Ludhe G.

I am currently a university student living in New York. Haitian Creole was my first language and I have been speaking English for 18 years now. I am currently learning French. I believe that mastering a language requires lots of practice and dedication but, most importantly, the student must enjoy learning the language. I took high school Spanish for 3 years and excelled at it. However, almost 4 years later, I barely remember any of it. This is not because I didn’t practice or study enough but simply because I never enjoyed it. Understanding the importance of learning and enjoyment not being mutually exclusive has helped me to develop a curriculum that both parents and students alike will be very appreciative of.
