About Loudel W.

Hello! My name is Loudel. I'm a teacher from the Philippines and now living in the US. I have been teaching Home Economics (along side Filipino, English, and Science) in my country for over 10 years to both secondary and primary students. I also worked part-time as private tutor before landing a regular teaching job in public school.

In my free time, I teach Tagalog to people who wants to understand and speak the language better. Tagalog is the basis of Filipino, the standardized national language of the Philippines.

Handicrafts is also my thing particularly needlework. I learned to sew and crochet when I was 12 and have done several projects big and small for household use and as gifts to members of my family/friends. My skills and experience in this craft made me knowledgeable in basic hand/machine sewing, fundamentals of crochet, fine embroidery art, and cross stitch technique.

Currently, I manage an online shop where I sell my handmade stuff (mostly crochet) like beanies, scarves, hair accessories, blankets and party giveaways. Occasionally, I accept commissions from people that helps me support the education of the kids in my family.

On weekends, I spend some time gardening. I also enjoy cooking and serving delicious meals to my family.

Teacher Loudel is really good with her craft. She is an experienced professional teacher. The quality of work she does shows on all her finished products. Teacher Loudel has the ability to individualize instruction, based on her student's interests, abilities and needs. She possesses strong people skills and she is sensitive to her students' specialized and changing needs. In addition to her proven ability to develop rapport with her student/s, Teacher Loudel is motivated, high-energy trainor with demonstrated track record in fostering student learning. My one-on-one lesson with her in crocheting was amazing. I highly recommend her.
