Sewing with Liza Q.

Liza is an artist, youth mentor and mother of 3. Art, culture and fashion have been a part of her life since she was a child. She studied Graphic Design at the New England School of Art and Design, has BA in Human Services and studied Fashion Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Liza has spent the past 10 years in alternative education and research, creating and implementing academic, self-development and creative expression programs for youth in Los Angeles, Boston & New York. She is the co-founder of Marka27 Designs with her husband/street artist, Victor “Marka27” Quiñonez. Together they curate art exhibitions, events and recently launched a children’s clothing line: Lil’ Ego. Having recently moved to Cambridge, MA from Brooklyn, NY, Liza is excited to bring her knowledge and love for fashion, art and design to kids in the Boston area!
