Quilting is my specialty!  I have been making quilts for over 20 years and have been teaching quilting for almost as long. We can work together to make a quilt of your choosing or I can help you decide on a quilt that works for your level.  I work with absolute beginners looking to make their first quilt all the way up to experienced quilters looking to try something new.

I am a lifelong sewist with experience in Quilting, Embroidery, Mending and many other textile techniques. I have been teaching sewing classes to adults and children for over 20 years at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

In addition to my creative pursuits, I have been studying and working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1987.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education with a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.  I currently have MN state licenses in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education and Parent Education and provide Parent Coaching under the Life Coaching tab.

Lisa was very informative and helpful so I can begin to put my quilt together. I like that I can take classes from my own home!

Lisa has been such an awesome quilting teacher! I came in as a complete beginner and she has very patiently helped me gain more and more quilting skills and knowledge. She makes the lesson fun, interesting and I always leave excited to quilt. I would recommend her to anyone looking to quilt and sew-- adults and kids.
