I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of basic language skills. Within the first few lessons, your language skills will greatly improve. I typically use the Ventures and Excellent English books, and also have other activities, books and worksheets available to use during lessons. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels!

Hi! My name is Linnea and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching since 1998 and have loved helping my students communicate effectively, gain confidence in their language abilities, and be motivated to learn more.  I went to UNC Charlotte and earned a degree in Spanish in 1997 and then completed certification to teach ESL in 2007. I'm a friendly, organized person and my teaching style is creative, thoughtful, and understanding. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
