I have been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for twelve years in the US and in China, all levels, from beginner to advanced. I have my Bachelor degree in Education of Chinese Language and Literature and my Master degree in Chinese Linguistics.

Lin is great! She is very patient and understanding, and tailors the lesson to my child.

I really did not know what to expect from a Chinese tutor.  Since I had already begun learning the language with Rosetta Stone, I was afraid she would start me with very basic words that I already knew.  However, when we started the lesson, we started with such things as learning the "alphabet" and pronouncing the letters correctly.  It was GREAT!  Lin is very patient, kind, professional and knowledgeable about both English and Chinese.  She understands the difficulties English speakers have with certain Chinese pronunciations and she has easy tips to help learn and remember how to create the correct sounds.  I am SO glad I selected her out of all the teachers there are!

She is an experienced teacher, so she knows very well what kind of weakness and/or strength a student has. She also explains very well how to overcome these issues in taking lessons. I strongly recommend her whoever wants to learn Chinese.

Lin is a very dedicated and considerate teacher. She personalizes the lessons to fit my unique needs and level of learning. I highly recommend!
