Hello,   My name is Leigh-Ann, I love to sew and I love to teach!    I have been sewing and teaching for over 12 years and I also run a small home sewing buisness.    I work with both children and adults from absolute beginners to confident sewers.    
I specialize in creating kids clothing but I can teach all types of sewing.   

Some of the things I teach include: 
- Understanding sewing tools and terms
-Threading and using a machine
-Basic/intermediate sewing skills
- Choosing, preparing and using patterns (paper and PDF)
-Upcycling
-Applique techniques
- Basic pattern design
-Design your own clothing using existing patterns
- Beginners machine embroidery (home machines)

I have been teaching for many years and sewing even longer than that!   Currently I teach homeschool classes, run a scout troop, run a small sewing buisness, and homeschool my 10yr old!     I have taught sewing lessons through a well-known sewing/craft store as well as independently for the past 9 years.   

Sewing and creating is something I love to do and when I teach I try and make learning accessible to everyone.      I really enjoy teaching others and sharing the skills I have.
