As an dedicated and experienced teacher, I cater each lesson to the student's age and level. I strive to build complete understanding of how English works while working on mastering pronunciation and reading along the way. As a student gains a working vocabulary, I encourage them to practice holding conversations fit for their level. My teaching focuses on encouragement and patience so that the classroom feels like a safe place where there's room to explore, take chances, and learn from mistakes while having fun doing so.

I am a full-time, online ESL teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I have a degree in English from Rice University in Houston, TX where I graduated with honors.

My passion is teaching reading to non-native English speakers and helping them become proficient in the language. To see my students make progress each and every lesson is the most rewarding part of being a teacher.
