Lesson Details

French

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate

I have taught dance to people from the age of 7 up to around 40 years old (6 years of experience) so I have lots of experience with interacting with all ages!

As much as traditional methods have proven to be effective, I believe that there is no universal way to teach. Every student is different as should be the lesson.

Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to understand and properly pronounce useful and general words that are commonly used in this language as opposed to learning workds that are too specific and advanced.

As time goes on you'll be able to formulate effective and complete sentences can be used in most situations.

I typically don't use a specific accademic book, since I believe that the most effective way to learn is by reading, speaking and listening - being exposed to the language. I want you take pleasure in learning as opposed to being in school. I reccomend podcasts, movies, simple reading books etc.

I am bilingual in english and french (native french), so communication will be very easy!

I look forward to working with you!

Some people might look at me and think that I am too young or don't have enough experience to provide them with good quality work.

I may look 12, but I have much to offer and a deep desire to learn from my students as well. I believe that learning from another person is the most efficient and fun way to do so.

I work as an independant professional dancer based in Quebec, Canada, and have been teaching dance for 6 years! I have taught to people from the age of 7 up to around 40 years old, so I have lots of experience with interacting with all ages!

As much as traditional methods have proven to be effective, I believe that there is no universal way to teach. Every student is different as should be the lesson.

I believe my strong suit is adapting to the needs and demand of the task. I like to push people to step out of their comfort zones while still being comfortable with the challenge.

I have lots of free time since i am an independant worker, so my schedule is very flexible and I will take the time required to do the necessary research in order to provide the best service.

I am bilingual in french and english, so communication should be easy!

Looking forward to working with you!

Willow - independant

I travel around the country to choreograph and teach other dancers!

I've worked with kids as well as adults, so I am very good at adapting to the needs and wishes of the students.

I've been teaching for 6 years and choreographing for 2 years. Every dancer is different, so I don't like to impose my style onto others; I work in a way that doesn't disadvantage the dancer and makes his or her style stand out from the rest.

I specialize in improvisation classes that focus a lot on self confidence. It is accessible to any level of dancers from begginers to advanced.
