I am a teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience. I specialize in ESL, English and Language Arts, and have extensive experience teaching early literary skills and mathematics to k-6 students. I graduated in 2011 from the University of Memphis with a Masters of Arts. After completing my degree, I finished a TEFL certificate and moved to Eastern Europe where I taught in training centers and international schools for 10 years. I have experience teaching students from all over the world. I taught in Ghana, Costa Rica, Russia, Ukraine, and China. I have taught test prep for Cambridge exams as well as prepared students for IELTS. Currently I work as a reading interventionist for students based all across the United States. I have extensive training in the science of reading can revolutionize the way you read, regardless of age. My tutoring style is to build confidence and show that everyone can achieve. I am a friendly, warm, and outgoing person and I believe making a connection with each student is integral to their success. I look forward to meeting all of you!
