Ever since I was little I loved creating on the computer. During college I fell in love with programming and game development. Programing games is one of the best ways of learning logic, math and object oriented programming. 

I have experience ranging from EA, a multi million dollar studio, to creating my own games in my startup. Not only do I enjoy teaching programming but also enjoy talking about career prospects and how to network for a brighter future.

My son is now even more eager to learn since his first lesson with Jose. Everything went great!

This is my fifth lesson with Jose.  In that time he showed me how to read, write drum notation/score, play fills, and tightened up my overall playing.  I am very pleased with my sound and I can't wait to learn more.

Jose's the best instructor ever! His passion for drums and music is contagious. Every time I go to class he has something new and interesting to show me. He breaks it down and after we figure it out together, he gives me real world advice on how to apply what I've learned to future gigs.

Jose was an enthusiastic and patient teacher. He's got an interesting and diverse experience ranging from both pedantic with theory to real world advice on how to play live and all things in between. A fun drummer, a good teacher.

Jose is a patient teacher and very passionate about drums. He starts with a strong foundation by teaching you how to read music but keeps things interesting by showing you cool fills as soon as you get used to the drums.
