My sewing knowledge includes pattern making, garment construction, crafting handbags and dolls. My multifaceted fashion background started when I began making costumes for advertising campaigns, and A-list celebrities. With that being said, I am excited to share my craft with you!

We are going to have so much fun working on my lesson plans and your personal projects that will help you develop skills and knowledge that will last you a lifetime.

I promise I am extremely patient, and we will go at your own pace, to ensure understanding and enjoyment.
Looking forward to meeting you!

My lesson with Joan was wonderful. As a novice, it was important to me that I have an instructor who was patient, knowledgeable, and personable. I mention personable, because who wants to work with someone boring. Right? I am so glad that I signed up for classes. Joan is a sewing expert with tons of real world experience in the garment industry. I will definitely be returning to learn new techniques. Thanks Joan!
