Master Korean the fun way with classes personalized just for you and what you want to learn

I can say to my students that we will have fun, interesting classes that cover culture, formality, pronunciation, and more. I was inspired to become a Korean teacher by my love of Hanguel (Korean language), and I want to help people who want to learn about it. I will be your encouraging teacher. I am looking forward to meeting you & helping you to develop your Korean skills.

Hello ~ This is Jiny! I was born and raised in South Korea and am now teaching the world about my native language and culture. I have just come back to TakeLessons after a while away getting my Masters in Teaching Foreign Language - Korean, and I'm so excited to meet you!! I am a CKLT-certified Korean language teacher from Incheon (like the airport) and am currently a full-time university Korean lecturer in Washington, D.C. I've been teaching at universities and language centers around the world, as well as private classes for individual students, for over six years, and am experienced in teaching all levels, from the basics of the alphabet to advanced speaking and grammar. I studied in the USA as a foreign exchange student during college and have lectured about my experiences; additionally, I have recently graduated from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey with my masters in TFL: Korean. I write a successful blog discussing education methods and reviewing books. My blog is in Korean, but you can see some pictures of me in the classroom and my teaching materials. I am an award-winning member of Toast Masters in Shijiazhuang in China, and my student got a first prize in Paraguay's national Korean Speech Contest in 2018. My writing on foreign education has been recognized by Seoul Digital Culture Arts University. If you have any questions, don't hesitate at all to contact me. I'll be waiting for you! Thank you.^^

I had a great time learning Korean with Jiny. She tailored the class to exactly what I needed to learn, both the topics and the level. I definitely recommend her whether you're a beginner or advanced Korean speaker!
