I got my first masters in Applied Math when I was 23. To stay current and refresh my knowledge I earned my second graduate master's degree in May of 2016 and finally the PhD in Mathematics in 2020. I spent 30+ years 'near Wall street' in the IT departments of the Financial Guaranty companies. While working, I earned an MBA in Finance. Started teaching Math in a community college in 2011. Worked for a short while for a tutoring place, helping with SAT and ACT Math preparation. Currently, I teach Math on a part-time basis at Stevens Institute of Technology and help others on a private basis. My range of knowledge is wide, I can help with school math as well as undergraduate and most of graduate math.

I took my first math course with Professor Slepoi at Union County College back in Fall 2015. Professor Slepoi was very interested in math and often expressed his interest in the material. Up to now, I still remember how passionate he is about math and as an Engineering Student, I began to realize why math is so important. His passion for math translated to me the urge to dig deeper into math material and has made me pursue a minor in applied mathematics.

I met Jeff Slepoi at Montclair University where both of us were graduate students at the Mathematics Department. We often took the same classes at the same time with Jeff helping me on my way. He was always willing to help being
both a capable mathematician and a great pedagogue. His grasp of the material was consistently nothing short of remarkable. In the classroom his questions made our professors and classmates penetrate the covered topics even deeper, shedding light on their hidden aspects. Often I was under the impression that he could do a better job teaching these classes than our professors. Both a strong mathematician and a pleasant person to work with Jeff seems to me a perfect teacher who can give a lot to his students. I can highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning mathematics.
