I have been teaching chess to players of all ages and at all initial skill levels for over 25 years. I am able to assess the current their knowledge and create a custom plan to help each student achieve their goals. Whether that is just learning the movement of the pieces and rules of the game, becoming a club player, getting ready for tournament play, or learning the techniques essential to mastering the game.

Do you love the game of chess? Great! So do I! I am a full time chess player and chess coach, and my biggest goal is to share the beauties and wonder of the royal game with as many people as I can. 

I believe learning should be fun, so I make your custom lessons enjoyable through fun analogies and interesting discussion! I also believe you will learn best through discovery, and I will be your guide!
