Ukrainian with Iryna K.

Hi! I am Iryna. I am a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker. Teaching is my hobby. From the time when I got my BA in Education, until today when teaching my students from different parts of the world, I have not stopped learning and expanding my knowledge about cultural diversities. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I started as a private tutor in Ukraine, teaching English to children and adults. I graduated with honors from State Pedagogical University majoring in English, German and Russian in 2010. I enjoy creating interesting lesson plans and I like to provide my students with interactive materials. When I moved to the USA, my dream came true. I was hired at Language Tutoring Center and had a pleasure to teach students from South Korea, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Austria and India. At the end of each semester, I was hosting Parent Open Houses, where my students could show their great improvements. My students were able to successfully pass TOEFL, ESL and German final exams, etc. When teaching my students I like to use various resources like Oxford University Press textbooks, audio and video recordings, movies, songs, poems, tongue-twisters, charts, tables, interactive games, and so much more.
