I am a hardworking individual, who wants to better our world through education, language, and cultural awareness. I hope to help students learn to accept others around them through while sharing my own experiences. Additionally, I am a positive, energetic person that wants the best for my students. By looking at my credentials, you can see that I am qualified in Teaching English and Spanish; however, my skills excel when I use my cultural background in my professional life. For example, I have been able to share my own Chilean culture when I teach, which has been fundamental when discussing current events and keeping students engaged while learning Spanish as a Foreign Language. I also believe that it is important to make the student feel confident and valued in the classroom, especially in a language learning environment. I strongly believe in making the students feel calm and comfortable to make mistakes before addressing language learning activities.
