To give you an overall view of my qualifications and experience, I am a native English speaker, being American. I have taught ESL in Moscow for the last f 15 years with a CELTA(Cambridge English Language Teaching Award). I taught for a branch of IH-London and our teaching standards had to be up to IH-London standards. We had annual observations by a director of studies in our school, which had about 130 teachers. I passed all observations with satisfactory or above. With my vast experience learning several languages(4 years of Latin, 3 years of French, a diploma in Russian, and learning languages such as spanish and German just for fun) I understand language, especially Indoeuropean languages, deeply and understand acquisition of language(the knowledge, thinking, related vocaulary between languages, etc.) very well. In Moscow I had a lot of private students, which is basically tutoring. And I still have 4 private students in Moscow that have skype lessons with me each week.
I taught English in a International House-London affiliate school in Moscow for 15 years and I taught English to Indonesians in English First school for about 5 months.
This is a certificate granted by International House London and conforms to Cambridge University of England's requirements. It is for teaching English as a Second Language to foreign speakers of English.
