I have a wide range of experiences and skills relevant to teaching. I lived in India teaching English to adults for 4 months and I have a TEFL certificate from OISE. I speak conversational Spanish and beginner Mandarin. I do not believe in compulsory immersion. If that is not the style my student does not learn best, I am happy to allow them to use their existing language skills to progress in new ones. I want my students to feel comfortable with their English language ability in their daily lives.

I am 21 years old and have studied college level Linguistics at UCONN. I've taught abroad and at home to speakers of Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi. I have recently completed my English teaching certification and I am looking to teach abroad or nearby. I love to study languages and learning their history and usage. My hobbies include tabletop gaming and calligraphy.
