Hi, I am Eugenia A happy Mandarin Chinese teacher who is truly passionate about teaching. I am a language coach committed to helping you achieve your unique Chinese language learning goals! From a young age I have had a hard working spirit and a deep desire to learn. I found it extremely interesting, challenging and enjoyable to learn foreign languages and cultures. I speak, read and write proficiently the following languages: English, Mandarin and Russian. I sing in all three languages, enjoy travelling and love sharing my knowledge and experience related to the cultures behind each language. I graduated with Honors from Moscow City Teacher Training University with a Master’s degree in Linguistics. I studied abroad in the UK and China. In 2012, I participated in the summer school language program in the United Kingdom (Cambridge Regional College, advanced English). In 2013, I had chance to join a student exchange program for 6 months in China at Nanjing University. In 2014, I was awarded a one-year Full Chinese Government scholarship to study at Fudan University, which is one of the top 5 universities in China. There I studied advanced Chinese, Chinese culture, history and calligraphy. I love exploring different cultures by traveling and communicating with locals. I am happy that my passion became my profession. Studying abroad introduced me to different learning and teaching methods, which greatly helped on my career as a foreign language teacher. I specialize in tutoring Mandarin Chinese. I have six years of experience with one-on-one teaching as well as teaching in a classroom setting. I have taught Mandarin Chinese and English to students from 1st to 11th grade at a Chinese Language Specialty School in Moscow and to second year university students. I also prepare students for each level of Chinese proficiency qualifications (YCT, HSK). I am a certified language coach and I help my clients to learn Mandarin Chinese more effectively and efficiently. I am working successfully with tech companies and startups giving Mandarin Chinese coaching sessions to executives.
