My first language was Spanish, then I formally took and passed the AP Spanish exam in high school. I pursued a bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and then moved on to teach Dual Immersion in Spanish at the Elementary Level. My fluency also extends to culture. By traveling to Spanish speaking countries I bring added experiences to you! Students can expect a variety of teaching techniques to improve grammar, conjugating verbs, and tips for vocabulary retention. For AP Spanish exams in Literature and Language, I find that non-native speakers benefit from verbal practice. My background in teaching special education children also helps me quickly identify areas of need.
