Spanish tutored to a high profile family using discrepancy and respected the privacy of said individuals' status while doing in-home lessons. Interactive Spanish games were played to keep the children's energy up while still giving them the opportunity to practice dialogue with each other since both children took the lesson together.

UCLA

The Workers Union partnered with UCLA theatre program to create a dramatized narrative that was put up in front of an audience. I was hired to translate the narrative and then simultaneously speak it into a microphone so those in the audience who only spoke Spanish could hear the translation of what the "characters" were saying.

I tutored a 9th grade high school student attending a charter school. He needed to pass his class with a good grade to avoid attending summer school. I helped him with his homework, quizzed him, answered questions, reviewed, checked his work, left him practice sheets.
